Side Wipe
A vertical seal running along the hinge or strike side of a swinging shower door, sealing the gap between the door and the fixed panel or wall.
Side wipes (sometimes sold as "jamb seals") run vertically along the edge of the door that meets a fixed panel, wall jamb, or the other door. On framed doors they're often built into the metal frame; on frameless doors they're a separate clear vinyl strip.
Unlike a bulb seal (below), a side wipe is a flat or slightly curved flap, not a hollow tube — it works by flexing against the adjoining surface rather than compressing like a bulb.
