Hüppe is famous for long-term parts availability. Current ranges (Studio Paris, Aura, Refresh, Solva) have full original-parts coverage. Pre-2010 classics (501 Design, Classics, 700 Design) are partially discontinued — universal profiles are recommended there. Watch out for the lift-and-lower hinge mechanism on older models: when this fails, replacement parts are usually no longer available, and a full pivot-door renovation is more economical than repair.

How to find the right replacement seal

Measure the glass thickness: with a calliper or ruler at the glass edge. Common thicknesses: 5, 6, 8, 10 mm.
Identify the door type: hinged, sliding, folding or walk-in without door?
Locate the wear point: magnetic seal at the closing edge, floor seal at the lower edge, corner seal in the vertical corner.
Original vs. universal: originals from the manufacturer are usually more expensive but fit 100 %. Universal profiles fit in most cases on Hüppe without issues.

Magnetic or lip seal for Hüppe Refresh?

Refresh Pure is a sliding door with two glass panels — a lip seal fits here, not a magnet. The lip presses against the fixed panel and seals the gap.

Hüppe lift-and-lower hinge broken — is repair worth it?
