Level-floor shower
A shower without a step — the floor is at the bathroom-floor level.
Level-floor showers are today's new-build standard. They are barrier-free and visually cleaner. Instead of a shower tray, you have a tiled area with a linear drain. Seals are used mainly between the glass edge and the tile. Look for a low-height floor seal that doesn't catch the squeegee.

Water deflector
Designed for walk-in showers: the water deflector redirects water running down the glass edge back into the shower area instead of letting it drip onto the bathroom floor.
Floor seal
The floor seal closes the gap between the glass edge and the shower tray or level-access floor. Prevents water dripping onto the bathroom floor.
