Sliding door

A shower door that slides on a side rail instead of swinging.

Sliding doors are the space-saving alternative to hinged doors — typical for recess installations or smaller bathrooms. Typical seal: lip seal at the door stop (vertical), plus floor seal with deflector lip at the lower glass edge. The mechanism uses rollers in a top rail; over years, the rollers can be replaced if the door starts to drag.
