Sealskin replacement strategy

Get Wet Classic has been out of production since 2010, and Sealskin original parts are mostly no longer stocked. Universal lip seals for 6 mm glass fit 90% of Get Wet models. If the wall connection looks unusual, compare the click-profile shape of the new seal against the old one before ordering. Modulo (more recent) runs on 6 or 8 mm glass — universal magnetic seals matched to the thickness fit directly.

How to find the right replacement seal

Measure the glass thickness: with a calliper or ruler at the glass edge. Common thicknesses: 5, 6, 8, 10 mm.
Identify the door type: hinged, sliding, folding or walk-in without door?
Locate the wear point: magnetic seal at the closing edge, floor seal at the lower edge, corner seal in the vertical corner.
Original vs. universal: originals from the manufacturer are usually more expensive but fit 100 %. Universal profiles fit in most cases on Sealskin without issues.

Sealskin Get Wet — my shower is 15 years old, what now?

Get Wet Classic has been out of production since 2010 and Sealskin is now under Allibert. Universal 6 mm lip seal fits 90% of Get Wet models. If the wall connection differs, compare the click-profile shape of the old seal with the new one before ordering.

Sealskin Modulo — magnetic or lip seal?

Modulo Pivot is a hinged door — magnetic seal required (90° or 180° depending on door direction). Modulo Slide is a sliding door — lip seal at the door stop + floor seal with deflector lip. Glass thickness is 6 or 8 mm depending on model year.

Where can I find Sealskin spare parts?

For current Modulo and Inca ranges via the Allibert group's customer service. For discontinued models (Get Wet Classic, Inca pre-2015) universal profiles via Amazon are usually faster and cheaper.

Are Sealskin showers compatible with all bathtubs?

The Combi range is specifically designed for bathtubs. For replacement seals: short floor seal (length of glass on the tub) + corner seal 90° (vertical glass-to-wall). Standard universal profiles for 6 mm glass fit.
